Demo Builder

Imagine that you need to create a presentation for a specific Windows application and you want to make sure that all the viewers of the presentation learn how to use that application in an efficient way. For this, you could use Demo Builder, a Windows program which allows you to capture your screen and save it as a video file, while also adding various effects to the video.

When launching the application, a welcome screen will be first displayed, from where the user can access some demo or sample projects, which are meant to prove the program's functionality and features. Each demo project can be fully customized by the user. In order to create a new project from scratch, the user can just click on the "Blank" option. In order to start the capturing process, he can click on the recording button. At this point, a frame will be displayed on the screen, which delimiters the recording area. By default, only a portion of the screen is configured to be recorded, but the user can choose to have the entire desktop area recorded into the video file.

Besides recording the screen, one can also take screenshots of the desktop and save them as regular image files. What's more, he can include his own voice as a narration during screen recording. Thus, he can explain the features of an application using his own voice, thus allowing viewers to understand the presentation much better.

In case you have already recorded your screen using another similar software, you can easily import the resulted video file into the interface of Demo Builder, so that you can modify and customize the video. After the presentation has been edited, the user can either save it as a video file or upload it to YouTube. Furthermore, the program includes a feature for converting flash SWF files into regular videos.
